OUR JOURNEY SO FAR…

It all begins with an idea. Our family run community radio station Trunk 88 FM, rose from humble beginnings broadcasting out of the spare bedroom in our house on Taupo Rd to opening a brand new studio on the One Way Street and a remote studio in New Plymouth. We are very proud of how hard we have worked over the years to grow and bring you the most professional and quality local radio around. We are primarily based in Taumarunui where you can pick up the FM signal but have a team based in New Plymouth too and the station is proud to stream around the world. We cater for a wide variety of musical tastes and interests and are constantly adding to our library to bring you the latest hits and of course all the classics we still love and enjoy.
